| ANW | Altrincham – Dunham Massey – Partington - Sale | 24/04/2022 | New hrly M-S daytime by Little Gem (0630-1830) partly replacing CAT 5 and 260. Su service was to be covered by Local Link provision, but a supported 2hrly (0915-1715) running Altrincham – Dunham Town only implemented, by ANW. Replacing existing service 260 btwn Sale and Partington and reinstating a service via Dunham Massey village, passing Dunham Massey Hall. In Partington, buses run via Carrington La, Manchester Rd, Manchester New Rd, Central Rd, Moss La, Lock La, Birch Rd, Wood La, Laurel Walk, Redbrook Rd and Warburton La. Tulip Rd, Chapel La and Cross La no longer served. Considerable concern raised about the loss of the service through Dunham Massey village and extensive engagement with stakeholders regarding options for its replacement. These proposals address the majority of these concerns. ESu facilities btwn Partington and Sale, and btwn Dunham Massey and Altrincham continue to be available on Partington Local Link. While tenders were issued for a conventional bus service at these times, to mirror the daytime service, no bids were received due to the restriction imposed by the low bridge. Warrington CAT5 provides Su service from Warburton and Dunham Massey (Rope & Anchor) into Altrincham via Broadheath. As part of a subsequent retendering of the Altrincham town services 281-287, a Su 280 by ANW: ev2hrs Su daytime btwn Altrincham - Dunham Massey ev2hrs btwn 0915 and 1715. Due to the height of the vehicle, not possible to go any further west on the Su service than Dunham Massey, Big Tree.
