| STO | Gee Cross – Hyde – Stalybridge – Mossley – Lees – Oldham | 04/04/2016 | This cross boundary service by Stott's Tours operates Gamesley-Glossop generally hrly M-S E, extending to Hyde via Broadbottom and Mottram ev2hrs. Recent surveys show on average 2.25 passengers per trip travelling on the section of route within Gtr Mcr. These E jnys withdrawn due to low patronage. In addition, SuPH Stagecoach services withdrawn. All other M-S jnys (3 early am round trips) now run by High Peak. The Tame Valley Local Link 0930-2230 M-S; 1030-2230 Su: Operated by Eco Travel providing door to door transport for people travelling in the Broadbottom, Roe Cross, Mottram Rise, Shawhall, Castle Hall and Dukinfield areas of Tameside. Following the withdrawal of M-S E 202 jnys, TfGM met with Derbyshire CC and agreed an extension to serve Charlesworth and Gamesley with an addtl stop in Glossop Town Centre. The full cost of this extension is to be met by Derbyshire CC. TfGM are increasing promotion of the Local Link service in the Broadbottom area. Alternatively, passengers from Godley, Hattersley and Broadbottom can get the hrly Hadfield train for Glossop. | |||||||
