| WOB | Altrincham - Sinderland Green - warburton - Lymm - Warrington | 24/04/2022 | CAT 5 and 5A each hrly daytime service, partly subsidised by TfGM and Warrington BC. Due to the height issue with canal overbridge on Woodhouse La, Dunham Massey, all jnys have been running via Moss La, Sinderland La, Sinderland Rd, Mcr Rd to Altrincham Interchange, instead of hrly via Dunham Massey or via Sinderland Green, since Dec 2019. Revised CAT 5 timetable provides an hrly daily daytime service on revised route, via existing diversion route of Broadheath, Sinderland La then diverted further, passing Altrincham Crematorium and country roads not previously served (Whitehouse La, Red House La, Henshall La, Station Rd, Axe & Cleaver PH, Paddock La, Dunham Rd and Paddock La, then via current route, serving Warburton (off-peak). Service CAT 5A retimed but retains current route. These changes, with the new 280, maintain all existing links and provide new link btwn Dunham Massey and Asda Broadheath on CAT 5. Alternative facilities are available on Arriva service 247.
